Well that’s a wrap -the EU Midterm project check is complete.
All of the YEASTDOC ESRs presented themselves impeccably and gave a great taste of the exciting research we can expect to see over the next few years. Here’s Frederik telling us about himself and his experience so far at INRA, Montpellier.
The added advantage of being hosted at Heineken was having a variety of experts on hand to talk about the brewing process, product development and sustainability challenges. All in all a productive couple of days…..

The first of our 12 ESRs started their PhDs this month. Frederik Cruyt and Carmen Becerra joined the INRA team who are based at Supagro Montpellier. They will be welcoming us on July 9th for the 1st Summer School.
